To support our growth and structure our technological vision, at Netenders we are looking for an experienced Hands-on CTO who can combine leadership, technical expertise, and project management to optimize our platform and accelerate our strategic developments.

As Hands-On CTO, you will be in charge of the following:

Tech Team management and structuring

• Lead and develop the team of developers.
• Structure development processes and improve the working methodology.
• Prioritize and organize sprints based on business needs.

Website performance optimization

• Optimize loading speed and Core Web Vitals.
• Strengthen the platform’s scalability and security.
• Work on database and API optimization.

Development & personalization of the User Experience

• Deploy advanced personalization solutions (product recommendations, A/B testing).
• Improve UX/UI to streamline the customer journey and optimize conversion rates.
• Participate in the redesign and optimization of the search engine and navigation.

Mobile app development & optimization

• Oversee the development and optimization of the mobile application.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient experience between the app and the website.
• Monitor mobile performance indicators and optimize user adoption.

Technological vision & strategic project management

• Drive the product roadmap in collaboration with business teams.
• Define and track technical and business KPIs to measure the impact of changes.
• Participate in strategic decisions in collaboration with management.

To succeed, you need:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within e-commerce.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and a strong understanding of modern web architectures.
• Experience in scalability and web performance optimization.
• Experience in tech team management and project management.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI challenges and conversion optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to react quickly and efficiently.
• Experience in mobile app development and optimization, as well as in advanced personalization solutions (AI, machine learning, product recommendations) are a plus.

• Highly organized, capable of structuring the team and priorities effectively.
• A strong communicator, comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical profiles.
