Key responsibilities 🚀
- Identify and prospect new suppliers / vendors based on company needs, initiating contact via calls, emails, and networking.
- Negotiate and onboard new vendors, ensuring they meet quality, pricing, and compliance standards.
- Assist on managing relationships with current suppliers, assisting in contract negotiations and renewals.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual agreements.
- Analyse supplier data and assist in preparing reports to support decision-making.
- Work with internal teams to optimize supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Communicating with the IT and Legal department for new supplier integrations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Maintain and update vendor management systems and records.
- Be proactive in proposing improvement projects, such as developing new tools or processes to enhance vendor operations.
- Monitor seller performance, sales trends, and key marketplace KPIs. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns for marketplace vendors.
You will perform if you have:
- This is an internship contract. You must be eligible for an internship (either still enrolled in your studies or able to obtain an internship agreement).
- Candidates must be part of an Erasmus+ program or currently enrolled at a Spanish University.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Available for a commitment of 4-6 months.
- High level of English.
- Strong interest in e-commerce.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel/Google sheets.
- A proactive and collaborative team player with a growth mindset.
