As part of our expansion, we, at Netenders, are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Vendor Manager Intern to join our dynamic team in Barcelona. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about e-commerce, supply chain management, and vendor relations.

Key responsibilities 🚀

• Identify and prospect new suppliers / vendors based on company needs, initiating contact via calls, emails, and networking.
• Negotiate and onboard new vendors, ensuring they meet quality, pricing, and compliance standards.
• Assist on managing relationships with current suppliers, assisting in contract negotiations and renewals.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual agreements.
• Analyse supplier data and assist in preparing reports to support decision-making.
• Work with internal teams to optimize supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Communicating with the IT and Legal department for new supplier integrations.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Maintain and update vendor management systems and records.
• Be proactive in proposing improvement projects, such as developing new tools or processes to enhance vendor operations.
• Monitor seller performance, sales trends, and key marketplace KPIs. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns for marketplace vendors.
  

You will perform if you have:

• This is an internship contract. You must be eligible for an internship (either still enrolled in your studies or able to obtain an internship agreement).
• Candidates must be part of an Erasmus+ program or currently enrolled at a Spanish University.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Available for a commitment of 4-6 months.
• High level of English.
• Strong interest in e-commerce.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel/Google sheets.
• A proactive and collaborative team player with a growth mindset.
