Chief Financial Officer
About Us
Netenders is a global e-commerce player (B2B/B2C) based in Barcelona, with a physical presence in 12 countries and commercial operations in 23 countries (including 40% of revenue generated in North America).
After a phase of hyper-growth followed by a successful strategic refocus, we are now on a solid path to success. The company is financially healthy, margins have been restored, and our absolute priority is to consolidate profitability, optimize our model through technology, and prepare for the future.
Your Mission: Lead, Negotiate, and Plan
As the right-hand person to the Founder and the COO, you will hold overall administrative responsibility for the group (Finance, HR, Legal).
You are not here to play a supporting role. We expect you to be a driving force, actively challenging the status quo.
Your 3 Key Responsibility Pillars
1. Financial Strategy & Business Planning
Modeling & Business Plan
You are an Excel and financial modeling expert. You know how to build a complete and credible Business Plan to project growth, attract banking partners, or prepare for future fundraising rounds.
Profitability & AI Management
With a strong passion for tech, you leverage AI to automate analyses and track net margin in real time.
Cash Management
Strict multi-currency cash management (EUR / USD / CAD).
2. Negotiation & Cost Optimization
Outstanding Negotiator
You love making deals. Whether with suppliers, banks, or logistics partners, you negotiate every cost line to protect margins.
Partner Management
You manage (and challenge on pricing and timelines) our network of 12 external accounting firms worldwide.
3. Cross-Functional Management (HR & Legal)
Dynamic Leadership
You directly manage a multidisciplinary team of around ten people at headquarters (Accounting, Legal, HR). You bring pace, structure, and rigor.
Global Oversight
You oversee HR and Legal departments to ensure the organization supports the business strategy while minimizing risk.
Your Profile: Talented, Sharp, and Agile
We are not looking for years of experience, but for potential, drive, and strong technical skills.
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience.
You come from Audit (Big 4), Strategy Consulting, M&A, or a key role in a scale-up.
You have solid fundamentals and are now ready to take ownership.
Key Skills
Expert in Business Planning and financial modeling
Strong negotiator – you don’t give up easily
Trilingual French / English / Spanish (non-negotiable)
